About Ji-qun Chen
Chen Jiqun was born in China, 1947. He attended the Art School Attached to the Central Academy of Fine Arts from 1963 to 1967. Chen Jiqun moved to Inner Mongolia in 1967, a young man in search of adventure. The grasslands of Chen Jiqun youth live on in his paintings even if they continue to recede in reality. Vast landscapes filled with horses galloping between herds of sheep, goats, and cows grazing on foot-high grass have been replaced with cornfields, fenced-in pastures, mines, and increasingly, deserts. Grassland echo in his paintings. As a professional artist who is open to commision requests, and taught oil painting. "ECHOING GRASSLAND" ART SHOW IN MALAYSIA...

BEAUTIFUL ARTWORK, JI-QUN !!!!!!!!! Thank you for your nice Comment, so nice...

Thank you for your kind comments on my painting - "Spirit of the wolf" I am equally impressed with your beautiful art, particularly those featuring horses. I also can relate to your dilemma of what price to charge for a painting. Try not to be too concerned about it, as artists we are entitled to charge whatever we think we are worth. Some people will think that is too high, others will think we are undervaluing our work. It is very very hard to find middle ground in pricing art. It is a perennial problem all artists are faced with. Your work is very beautiful and if genuine buyers like it they will pay whatever you ask. Keep up the good work Kind regards Peter Morris

"Why do you not have prices listed for your paintings on here?" Perhaps I did not understand the market for painting, I have sold paintings the selling price some time is high, and sometimes they can not sell, so I am not sure how much right in the end, so I did not put the price. There is always hope to do business sales people to help me to do things. I will try to put the price on here. Such as this originals painting sold 1500 U.S. D appropriate? and a print sold 50 U.S.D appropriate?
